Terms and Conditions
Last update: 17 June 2026 · Mobile Internet Ventures Ltd
Please read this document carefully. By using Fiuel’s services—including by scanning a QR code, starting a rental or accessing our platform—you fully accept the terms and conditions below. If you do not agree with any of them, do not use the Service.
In this document, the following terms have the meanings set out below:
“Fiuel” or “the Company” means Mobile Internet Ventures Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 09024223, with its registered office at 73 Dudleston Road, Little Sutton, Ellesmere Port, Wirral, CH66 4PG, United Kingdom.
“Service” means Fiuel’s network of portable power-bank rental stations, together with its mobile app, website and any other associated channel.
“Fiuel Station” means the physical device installed at partner locations that enables the rental and return of power banks.
“Power Bank” or “Device” means the portable battery made available through a Fiuel Station for the temporary charging of a User’s personal electronic device.
“User” or “you” means any individual or legal entity that accesses or uses the Fiuel Service.
“Partner” means a sole trader or legal entity that hosts a Fiuel Station at its premises under a separate commercial agreement with Fiuel.
“Rental Session” means the period from the time a power bank is removed from a Fiuel Station until it is returned to any Fiuel Station.
Fiuel operates a shared charging-station network located in high-footfall venues, including shopping centres, restaurants, hotels, airports, festivals and other public or private spaces. Users can rent a power bank from a Fiuel Station, use it to charge their personal devices and return it to the same station or to any other Fiuel Station in the network.
The Service is available for a rental fee calculated according to the duration of the Rental Session, in line with the pricing schedule displayed when the rental is started.
Fiuel reserves the right to change, suspend or discontinue the Service, or any part of it, at any time, with or without prior notice, where technical, commercial or legal circumstances require this.
The Fiuel Service is intended exclusively for individuals aged 16 or over or, for individuals under 18, with the express consent of a legal guardian. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
The Service may be accessed through:
Scanning the QR code displayed on a Fiuel Station using your phone’s camera
The Fiuel mobile app, available on iOS and Android
Any other access method made available by Fiuel
The User is responsible for the mobile device, internet connection and payment account used to access the Service. Fiuel is not liable if the Service cannot be accessed due to faults with the User’s device, lack of internet connectivity or restrictions imposed by mobile-network operators.
A Rental Session works as follows:
The User scans the QR code on the Fiuel Station or opens the app and selects the desired station.
The system displays the current rental fee and the conditions applicable to the session. The User confirms acceptance.
A power bank is released from a slot, and the User collects it.
The User connects the power bank to their personal device using the included cable—USB-C, Lightning or Micro-USB, depending on the model.
When finished, the User inserts the power bank into any available slot at any Fiuel Station in the network. The system confirms the return.
The Rental Session ends when the system confirms that the power bank has been returned. The total fee is calculated on the basis of the actual rental duration and charged automatically.
Important: The power bank must be returned to a Fiuel Station within the network. It cannot be returned to a third party or sent by courier. Any attempted return by another method will not be recognised as valid.
Rental fees are displayed when the session begins and may vary according to location, duration and any active promotions. Prices are stated in the local currency and include all applicable taxes.
Payment is accepted only through electronic methods supported by the platform, including bank cards, digital wallets or other methods available at the time of the transaction. Fiuel does not accept cash payments.
By starting a Rental Session, the User authorises Fiuel to automatically charge the amount corresponding to the duration of the session when it ends. If the power bank is not returned within the maximum permitted period, additional charges may apply, as set out in Section 7.
Any dispute concerning a charged amount may be submitted to office@fiuel.co within 30 calendar days of the transaction date. Fiuel will review each request and communicate its decision within 10 business days.
By using the Service, the User agrees:
To use the power bank solely for its intended purpose—charging personal electronic devices—and to follow the instructions displayed on the device and in the app.
Not to damage, alter, dismantle, customise or attempt to access the internal components of the power bank.
Not to use the power bank in conditions that could cause overheating or damage, including extreme temperatures, high humidity, contact with liquids or drops from height.
Not to transfer the power bank to a third party during or outside the Rental Session.
To return the power bank to a Fiuel Station in the network within a maximum of 72 hours from the start of the session, unless otherwise stated when the rental begins.
To provide accurate and up-to-date contact and payment details.
Not to use the Service for fraudulent, unlawful or other purposes that breach these Terms and Conditions.
The User is responsible for the condition and integrity of the power bank throughout the Rental Session.
If a power bank is returned with visible damage caused by improper use, including breakage, liquid damage, burns or deformation, Fiuel will assess the cost of repair or replacement, notify the User and charge the relevant amount. This amount will not exceed the replacement value of the Device.
If a power bank is not returned within the maximum 72-hour period, the session will be treated as an “Unreturned Device.” Fiuel will automatically charge a fixed amount equal to the replacement value of the Device, as communicated in the app when the session begins. This amount covers the full cost of the Device, and the User will no longer be required to return it.
If a Device is lost or stolen, please contact us immediately at office@fiuel.co. We will assess each situation individually and seek the best possible solution.
Fiuel Stations are installed at our Partners’ premises. Fiuel is not responsible for access conditions at Partner locations, their opening hours or any event occurring on a Partner’s property that is not directly related to the operation of a Fiuel Station.
Partners act as independent hosts and are not Fiuel’s agents, employees or representatives. Any contractual relationship relating to the rental Service exists solely between the User and Fiuel.
The station network may be expanded, reduced or changed without prior notice. Fiuel does not guarantee the continuous availability of the Service at any particular location.
Fiuel makes reasonable efforts to ensure that the Service operates correctly and continuously. However, the Service is provided “as is”, without express or implied warranties of uninterrupted availability or the absence of technical errors.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Fiuel is not liable for:
Indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Service
Damage to the User’s personal electronic devices caused by use of the power bank outside normal operating conditions
Loss of data from the User’s personal device
Losses caused by Service interruptions resulting from circumstances beyond Fiuel’s reasonable control, including force majeure, third-party infrastructure failures or cyberattacks
Fiuel’s total liability to a User, for any reason and regardless of the nature of the claim, will not exceed the amount actually paid by the User for the Rental Session or Rental Sessions that are the subject of the dispute.
All elements of the Fiuel Service—including, without limitation, the Fiuel name, logo, station designs, mobile app, website, text, graphics, source code and databases—are the exclusive property of Mobile Internet Ventures Ltd or are used under valid licences.
The User acquires no intellectual-property rights through use of the Service. Reproduction, distribution, modification or commercial use of any part of the Service without Fiuel’s prior written consent is prohibited.
Fiuel reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The updated version will be published on fiuel.co and will state the date of the latest update.
Registered Users will be notified of material changes by email or in-app notification at least 14 calendar days before the changes take effect.
Continued use of the Service after the effective date of the new terms constitutes acceptance of those terms. If you do not agree with the changes, please stop using the Service and contact us if you require clarification.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this document will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where consumer-protection laws in the User’s country of residence provide otherwise.
Users residing in the European Union benefit from the additional protection provided by European consumer-protection legislation, including the possibility of using alternative dispute-resolution mechanisms available in their country of residence.
